Meet Lauren
Lauren Cappaert completed her undergraduate education at Millsaps College in 2002. She attended Mississippi College School of Law, graduating in 2005.
After being admitted to the Mississippi Bar in 2005, Lauren served as Law Clerk to Mississippi Supreme Court Chief Justice Michael K. Randolph for four years.
In 2009, upon her move to Vicksburg, she joined our firm where she maintained a general practice until 2015. After taking time off with her children, Lauren returned to our firm in 2024.
Community
In addition to serving the local bar association, Lauren has been very active in the community.
She has volunteered with the American Cancer Society, Vicksburg Catholic Schools and the Rotary Club of Vicksburg. Lauren has served on the Board of Directors of the United Way of West Central Mississippi and is currently serving as Vice-President of the Vicksburg YMCA. Lauren and her family attend Saint Paul Catholic Church.
