Mississippi Attorney and Community Leader
B. Blake Teller is a third-generation lawyer who has practiced law in Vicksburg, Mississippi for over 30 years. He represents Mississippi clients in personal injury, wrongful death, real estate, banking law, corporate law, governmental law, and other matters.
A former President of the Mississippi Bar, he’s a respected leader in the Mississippi legal community. He advises individuals, businesses, and government entities and works tirelessly to protect his clients’ interests and help them achieve their goals.
Background & Education
Blake was raised in Vicksburg, Mississippi. He completed his undergraduate education at the University of Mississippi in 1988, earning a B.B.A. in Banking and Finance. In 1991, he received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Vanderbilt University.
After being admitted to The Mississippi Bar in 1991, Blake began practicing law at the Jackson firm of Brunini, Grantham, Grower, and Hewes. In 1994, he returned to his hometown of Vicksburg to join his father and grandfather at what is now the law firm of Teller, Hopson & Schrader, LLP.
Leadership & Achievements
Most recently, during 2022–2023, Blake served as President of The Mississippi Bar, a state bar association composed of nearly 9,000 active Mississippi attorneys. He has served in numerous professional associations during his 30+ years of practicing law.

Blake has earned an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell while representing individuals, businesses, banks, and government entities in a variety of legal categories. He presently serves as the attorney for the Warren County Board of Supervisors.
Community & Family
Blake is very active within his community and regularly provides pro bono legal services to various organizations in the community.

He is married to Stacey Mills of Jackson, and they have three children, Morgan Elizabeth, Barrett Mills, and Brandon Blake. The Tellers are members of First Presbyterian Church in Vicksburg where Blake serves as an Elder.
